School Clinic
The project aims at fundraising for a clinic in Nangqian, Yushu, affiliated with the Cixing School. It promotes the practice of traditional Tibetan medicine by providing free treatments for people in remote areas of Yushu. It also provides re-employment opportunities for former students at Cixing school.
We have successfully raised $60,000, which helped to pay for the medical supplies and cover half of the money needed for the construction of the clinic. The Cixing school was able to secure another $50,000.

Free Treatments
For Patients
Mulan is both the founder of Cixing school and the manager of the new clinic. He has been going to remote villages every year for the past 14 years with his students to provide free medical treatment and medicinal supplies for people in financial distress. So far, more than 70,000 people have received treatment.
Cixing's Herb Processing Plant
We support the establishment and operation of the school's herb processing plant by assisting with relevant licensing, and by optimizing procedures for herb harvesting and refined processing. The plant now procures significant quantities of local herbs, and the refined produce are sold nationwide, significantly boosting the income of farmers in the Yushu region.

Herb Harvests
Students at Cixing School would regularly go on herb harvesting trips, usually in remote mountains. The procured herbs would go through sorting and drying at the plant.

Refined Processing
Herbs are often ground up and mixed, following traditional Tibetan medicine texts. This step is usually done by re-employed former graduates, under the supervision of experienced Tibetan doctors.

Packaging and Distribution
At last, these processed herbs are packaged into cartons for distribution. Significant market demand exists in nearby provinces, often with significant Tibetan population.
